Hello Outsiders, and welcome to this roundβs CR meme and OOC intro post for new players. Below are some notes, along with a schedule of upcoming events.βΆ MOD NOTE: REGARDING THE OCTOBER EVENT.βΆ For new players/characters, please respond to the taken list as soon as you can. As an important addition, October's kaiju will have a special twist: an opt-in chance for a change in Outsiders' memories. This opt-in choice will have content warnings for memory manipulation and hallucinations during the event.βΆ OOC INTRO / CR MEME FORM.
Outsiders will have the option of believing they have always lived in Neo Tokyo, always worked for LILITH to tackle the kaiju problem and been present in this world since birth. As this will be a plot point that you might want to plan out and discuss with fellow Outsiders beforehand, we wanted to give you the chance to plan out your "Neo Tokyo AUs" with one another before the event hits in October.
NOTE: This is entirely opt-in. No one is required to have this memory change, and they'll be able to notice their friends' changes in memory. Eventually they might have an opportunity to save them! Both roles will have an equal amount of importance in the event, so either choice will have plenty of things to do!

NEO TOKYO AU: I am currently leaning towards leaving him as is, BUT if I were to AU him I think it would be that he was born into a family of doctors here instead, and sees his particular proclivities as antithetical to the family business and is thus extremely repressed, nervous, and a ticking time bomb, essentially.
CR YOU'D LIKE TO INCORPORATE: If I go with the AU, obviously whoever wants to have Aoi as their their studious, polite, and jittery friend, I am amenable.
CR YOU COULD OFFER: Non-AU Yugamu would be chomping at the bit to try and solve these memory issues with brain surgery. AU Yugamu would be around to wig people out either because Who Is This Yugamu for non-AUers or The Inevitable Moment When The Repression Seal Breaks.
CR YOU WANT: AU aside, I want to keep building on the friendships he's started forming here, but am also open to new ones. Yugamu can find the appeal in just about anyone. ESPECIALLY fellow weirdos.
PLANS & GOALS: nothing in particular besides potentially helping out Jessica with the shrines if Ereshkigal lets him become her acolyte. And of course his evil dog. He may also consider trying to actually go to formal medical school just so people stop pointing out he "isn't licensed to perform surgery" and "used to kill people for a living." Jeez.

yuta needs a friend who would be willing to crack open his skull should he ever need to use his brain transplant technique again and yugamu seems just the guy. in return i can offer him a very devoted friend who won't bat much of an eye at his Weirdness once he realizes yugamu's actually kind... the AU could potentially be a great starting off point as fellow studious & polite medical folks if you decide to go that route!
