Welcome to our ENABLE ME meme to get people jazzed about the game opening on December 1st! Reserves will open at midnight GMT on a first come first serve basis. Here are some changes we have made since our last update:

▶ Applicants may proxy Reserve for one other person at the time of Reserve openings. The player they are reserving for has to reply for their name to be put on the reservation list, but no further people may reserve for that character once the proxy reserve is put in.
▶ We have added an NPC page! Please take a look and see part of the lovely LILITH crew.
▶ The mod team has decided to grant each character one personal item from home of their choice. It can be anything! A weapon, something sentimental, etc. We believe this is a fair trade off since we do not offer home regains.
▶ If your character has a specific item that relies heavily on them accessing their powers (such as, Iron Man's suit, Genshin Impact Visions, etc) this will come along with them and not count as their freebie item. Both singular personal regains and power reliant regains have been updated in the APPLICATION to reflect this. Please update your application if you have already gotten started to fill out this information!

Like, he thinks sunglasses are a modern way to train for night battles so imagine all of the things he can misunderstand here. I want him to spread these misunderstandings too. He's also the type that really just rolls with whatever gets thrown at him so I want him to bother as many people as possible, too.

At a young age, Nami was interested in maps and had a talent for cartography, a talent which was once used in servitude to a pirate crew that had taken over her home village. She had given her freedom up in order to try and buy back her village with money she stole from others (mainly pirates), but after meeting Luffy and finding friends in the ragtag team he managed to put together, she was not only able to free her entire village, but herself. Now "Cat Burglar" Nami is the navigator of the Straw Hat pirates, helping their captain to not only achieve his dream of being King of the Pirates, but her own dream of being able to map out the entire world.
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
For the good we have compassionate, loyal, kindhearted, and bold. For the bad we have selfish, greedy, cowardly, and short-tempered.
She's someone who will avoid dangerous situations at all costs, but she will put her life on the line for her friends and loved ones.

At first she'll treat this like a kidnapping, but in time she'll find a way to fit in and make the most of it. Nami's used to finding herself stuck in strange new worlds suffering from unique humanitarian crises and is at that point where she dejectedly accepts that she's going to get caught up in shenanigans whether she wants to or not.
She is not going to be thrilled about the technological upgrades done to her body, though....

Despite being a self-proclaimed scaredy-cat and often regarded being among the weakest of her crew, Nami has a pretty good head on her shoulders when it comes to navigating difficult situations and is actually a pretty capable fighter when she puts her mind to it. Since one personal item is allowed to be brought in, Nami will have access to her Clima-Tact which she can use to manipulate the weather of her general surroundings, creating mirages, thunderstorms, strong gusts of wind, etc.
Once she gets to know members of her team better, she will provide an unwavering loyalty in making sure both she and her friends get out of tough situations okay.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: cold, reticent, and secretly a bit lonely. he has a soft spot for the people he cares about and is extremely protective of them!

HOW WILL THEY REACT TO BEING IN THIS SETTING?: he's nothing if not adaptable, and he's not unfamiliar with combat. as mentioned before, he did jump from ship to ship and likely offered his aid to others in exchange for a roof under his head before he joined the express. if no one else from the astral express is to be found, he will likely try to get back to them one way or another (because they are his family, and he does care and worry for them), but he has too big of a kind heart to leave this world to fend for itself. he's a nice boy, after all, he would never leave people to die. he knows way too well what it's like to be alone in the world.

From the game series 'what if Star Trek was a JRPG', he's palling around with the guys that accidentally got him Cursed Maybe Forever. That curse basically translates to him being fused with a two headed dragon that now sprouts out of his back and sometimes bullies him. He's doing his best.
PERSONALITY TRAITS: So Ashton's the unluckiest creature alive and he's kind of timid and a little pathetic because of it. He's modest and honest and an all around kind, good guy but he is a little whiny/weepy due to his circumstances. The special abilities from this series are poorly defined and inconsistent, but Santa here is also an ESPer (in theory, he is a 'receiver' who can retrieve information sent telepathically by 'transmitters'). Other than that, he's a pretty average human guy just trying to solve some puzzles because that is how his world works.

His ESPer powers probably aren't very useful for this fight, but his ability to execute any orders given to him regardless of morality or practicality probably is. He's good at technology, practiced at deception, and if puzzles come up, he's got that shit. If his sister's life is at stake, he's willing to do whatever it takes to make sure she's safe.

Izuku's from a "everybody (mostly) has superpowers" world where he's a superhero in training with the ability known as "One For All" - basically, he has superstrength and a few other things. He was actually one of the few born without an ability in his world and instead inherited it, so his backstory involves a lot of people not believing he could be a hero originally. Determined to become the best "hero who rescues" with a smile on his face, Izuku is a super nerd who can be pretty awkward but who is super friendly with a heart of gold. He's very sweet, really, and is fairly good at teamwork if he hasn't tripped his "protect people by leaving them" trap card from canon for his batman arc...

The initial expected "what" aside, Izuku is very much someone who does his best at all times and who wants to help out any and everyone so he'll quickly lean into that. As to the atmosphere - his current canon arc involves basically Japan living in shelters as villains roam free so like. Despite looking sweet he's been through it.

WHAT CAN THEY PROVIDE TO LILITH'S TEAM?:

A can do attitude and a willingness to take a copious amount of notes about lore. Also, he's good in a fight! Izuku may have quiet nerdy moments about the setting basically being out of a hero story (despite...himself being the same thing).

INFORMATION:

Saber is... a Servant! Also known as a Heroic Spirit, also known as a Ghost Liner, which are all very fancy ways of saying that they are a very powerful familiar based on an important historical/legendary figure. Who they are is a mystery to everyone around them including their Master, but they do expect to be recognized—they're a famous warrior, after all! Wait, what do you mean that you don't?! Oh, well, whatever!

That said, they're of the Saber class, meaning that they're most well known for their swordsmanship. A hero in life, they now wish to enjoy the peace of the new era and experience everything that comes with it.

(true identity spoilers!) Their true identity is Yamato Takeru.

PERSONALITY TRAITS:

Saber is blunt, impulsive, and haughty, almost nothing like the hero that you'd expect. They're the type of person that would rather shoot slash first and ask questions later, with their usual go-to method for solving problems being either brute force or outright murder, much to the despair of their Master, Miyamoto Iori. They're easily excitable and amazed by anything new and shiny, which in 17th century Edo is A Whole Fucking Lot. They're the type of person that is very aware of their abilities and strength, almost to the point of arrogance. Don't worry, you can count on them! There's no one that's stronger or more capable than they are— if anything, you're only holding them back.

But deep down, they're someone that wants to do the right thing. Even if their methods are awkward at best and downright violent at worst, it's for the sake of ensuring a peaceful world, even if they might not be a part of it.

HOW WILL THEY REACT TO BEING IN THIS SETTING?:

As someone that was absolutely dazzled by the sights of 17th century Edo, an even more modern world will probably have them spinning. Technology is something that would have their head spinning for weeks, probably, and they would want to learn every little thing that they can.

However, on top of that, they will probably be very eager to fight crime. Fighting is what they do best, after all, so if this gives them the idea that it's a place where survival of the fittest is the law, then that is exactly what they're going to do! All for the sake of a more peaceful world and all.

WHAT CAN THEY PROVIDE TO LILITH'S TEAM?:

Saber, as a Servant, is a character that's far more powerful than a normal human. They're a warrior first and foremost, so obviously, they will be excellent for offense situations. They're a tiny powerhouse who hates holding back and finds killing to be far easier than holding back. Though they're happy to help, it'll be a bit more difficult for them to be convinced to work with others and in whatever way is asked of them. But eventually they'll hopefully warm up to the others and work with them.

a human-alien hybrid from a manga that is suspiciously like men in black but with cute anime boys in techwear. he was once a normal little guy but he had the bad fortune of violently crossing paths with the big bad of his series who hybridized him for ?? reasons. now he's a very weird little guy who is so jam packed full of regenerative powers that he's functionally immortal! which would have been more cool and fun if he wasn't spirited away to the protection of the alien management organization (the AMO) and raised as a weapon by a sexy unhinged weirdo, as you do.

from there, he was trained to be a member of the organization's special riot police, who manage dangerous extraterrestrial incidents in tokyo. he worked alone in unit 03 until the series protagonist bumbled his way in and became his partner. shou is a little obsessed with him. (he belongs as the male lead in a bl or shoujo managa but came to the wrong neighborhood and has to wing it from there.)

PERSONALITY TRAITS:

stoic, forceful, intimidating, blunt, lonely, self-sacrificing, loyal, intense. because he grew up having to be so secretive and isolated from other humans, he tends to be pretty socially weird. however, show him kindness once and he'll quite literally catch a grenade for you. for most of his life, he's viewed his right to live through the lens of strength (oof). sharing food is his love language. combat is also his love language.

loyalty and obedience without much fuss, especially if he's separated from the people who make him feel more human. strength in spades, regardless of his complicated relationship with it. getting out of the mindset of being a weapon is pretty hard for him and he'll probably lean into it in the setting. at home, he's from a special task force that's authorized to use force against alien threats in tokyo, so this sort of work is his bread and butter! he's also used to investigative work, though he's better as the part of the equation that hits things.

Understanding the state of the setting would be Shousetsu's first and foremost concern, and depending on what is readily available to her she'll force herself to adapt and become useful.

INFORMATION: I swear despite being from an idol canon, Hiiro can fit the setting. So! A bit of background. Hiiro is the second-born son of the chief of a fictional remote village in Japan. Their remote village specializes in martial arts, and one of their common greetings is to engage in battle when they meet, much to his brother's chagrin. Hiiro, of course, enjoys these wild greetings. Anyway, as the second son, he is meant to be completely subservient to his older brother Rinne, the future village chief. Or was supposed to be, but then Rinne ran away to become an idol and for the next 4 years, Hiiro stayed in the village and was slated to be the next chief instead.

He didn't agree with this assessment and believed that Rinne should still succeed their father, so he goes on a journey to the outside world where he has never been before. This is where he first discovers things like technology, idols, and the common sense of the city. He planned on destroying idols (not really knowing what they are aka singing and dancing boys) to make his brother come home, but instead turned into an idol with the unit Alkaloid.
PERSONALITY TRAITS: Hiiro is naive and completely ignorant, but he is also very openminded. He doesn't know a lot of things about the world so he relies on others to explain it to him, but because he is so curious, he is able to absorb things quickly and learn so fast that others are threatened by his progress. Whether it is singing, dancing, academics, playing instruments, etc. However, being ignorant doesn't mean he's not intelligent, or that he is incapable of making very clear assessments. He's practical, someone who is grounded on logic and rules, but also flexible enough to understand that what he knows isn't always what is true in their current situation. He also relies a lot of his gut instincts when assessing people, and has pretty good judgment.

He's very cheerful and friendly, but because he can be blunt and clueless at the same time, it's hard for others to explain things to him quickly. He likes people who are helpful, and enjoys people who show their emotions on their sleeves. He's also more comfortable being told what to do, as he had grown up as a servant, but he's getting more used to leading his unit.

Lazy, laid-back and directionless, which leads to him being kind of a pest and a bully out of boredom. Gets explosively angry when he loses his temper. Hates being treated as a dumb kid, both from living among much younger children at the orphanage and from being able to read people's minds and see when they're looking down on him. There's indication that he's a lot wiser and thoughtful than he looks, even so, at heart, he's still a moronic kid.
At this point, he's still kind of dealing with 1. his best friend dying and 2. finding out said friend killed his father and also 3. finding out said father was a corrupt cop working for the conspiracy.

HOW WILL THEY REACT TO BEING IN THIS SETTING?:
Akira's story is explicitly a love letter to canons like Mazinger Z and Akira (naturally), so he'll fit right in.
ON THE OTHER HAND #1: He's from the "near future", which is to say the kind of anime near-future where it's basically still ~1990, so the actual futuristic technology will have him going WHAT!!!
ON THE OTHER HAND #2: He's also just come from an apocalyptic void where he had to fight alongisde other people stolen from their eras to fight a primordial god of hate, so like. This is bullshit. He was supposed to go home.

WHAT CAN THEY PROVIDE TO LILITH'S TEAM?:
One of Akira's starting abilities is Mother's Shame, aka "make your enemies think about how disappointed their moms would be of them". Besides that, most of his psionic abilities revolve around demoralizing and terrifying enemies, or spooking them with hallucinations. He's also a mind-reader, and can be a healer in a pinch.
On the other hand, even though he really tries to look like a rough tough street thug, he's not really that physically strong. He can throw a decent punch, but if his teacher's dialogue is any indication, he spends a lot of time getting his butt kicked in physical altercations.
Also he's learned how to make taiyaki and crepes from his big bro.

From a young age he learned how to compensate for his blindness by sensing the waves of energy that flow around all things, allowing him to 'see' to the level of being able to tell when someone has something on their face. It also makes him extremely perceptive and has honed him into incredibly fast reflexes. His time on the island has also taught him to be able to manipulate his own tao, allowing him to increase his already impressive speed, strength and endurance for as long as his energy holds out.

His appearance was surgically altered to resemble the original Elan Ceres, who he's forced to impersonate and fight in duels for as a body double. He'll do whatever it takes to survive be it lying, stealing, quiet quitting, actually quitting and fleeing his bosses because who wants to be treated like a test subject and disposable tool smh
PERSONALITY TRAITS: Flippant, "cheerful", individualistic, selfish, cynical, likes to run his mouth for someone who doesn't want to get punched
HOW WILL THEY REACT TO BEING IN THIS SETTING?: He'd be swapping one set of AI overlords for another so lmao. He'll grin and bear it but he won't be happy. Not the type to care about the greater good, he'd leave that to the heroic types and play down his capabilities, but he'll cooperate in a fight because he's very invested in not dying. Day to day, he'll be cautiously enjoying life in cyberpunk city and whatever new freedoms he has under Lilith AI
WHAT CAN THEY PROVIDE TO LILITH'S TEAM?: He can pilot a giant robot which I'll be giving him in whatever nerfed capacity is acceptable. Despite reluctance to get in his robot, Elan's a capable pilot, an excellent shot, and quite observant and cool-headed on the battlefield. He can raise the permet score on his robot and make it hit harder nyoom faster but at risk to his life, which means he'll never be doing this, probably.
