▶ HANDWAVED CR/PUBLIC INFO MEME

▶ PREMISE.

As much as we want to, it's impossible to thread out every meeting and every conversation between characters. And with a small group of Outsiders such as this one, it also makes sense that some water cooler gossip has gotten around. That's what this meme is for, to help both establish any information that other Outsiders might reasonably know about your character and to handwave threads that might result from knowing said information (for example, handwaving they gave their name, credit card information, and social security number to another character, but hopefully, no character has actually done this). This can be information you think is relatively common that your character would have readily told people, or could just be a more serious topic you think they could have brought up, but you just never had a chance to add it into a specific thread.

• Post your character as well as any number of facts that are in the realm of public information (conversations that might have been overheard, public events someone might have seen, public text threads on the network, etc).
• You can put as much or as little information you want, depending on how much your character would have revealed about themselves.

- Turtle, mutant turtle. His syndata states what type he is (soft shelled) but it isn't obvious because he wears a metal protective shell basically all the time. (only when he sleeps and bathes can he be caught without it.)
- Prone to going out cloaked even on base, so folks may have seen this goober around instead of a turtle.
- Probably brings shit home from his civvie job to tinker with, since he is pretty sure he will get into shit if he dumpster dives around here. Which maybe he has been caught doing just that, dumpster diving for tech to mess with?

- Very publicly from a place called Zaun, and has told like everyone that. It's easy to understand that it's a poorer place with some class issues and that it's generally unpleasant
- And also, unfortunately, the SynData being public has revealed that he is, in fact, a parent (BAD DADDY....)
- Well known as a shady character; has connections to several illicit materials, including kaiju-parts smuggling and drugs (He's Tezca's weed hookup and Laios's kaiju meat hookup)
- If you ever notice the smell of smoke on the base? That's Silco, probably. Is there a no-smoking sign? He does not see it. He's still smoking inside.
- Generally not actually found on base outside of very early morning/Very late at night
- Can be found at the old agency Elysium and Izou started (that building smells even MORE like smoke)
- To that end, he's known as working on taking out the criminal element in Neo-Tokyo. Has not stated his reasons. (I mean...)
- Does not generally eat in public
- Does however, drink in the mess hall plenty from his flask
- When on base, he does spend time in the library if he's not in his quarters
- Or the smoking area...
- Generally known for being cantankerous and has a bad attitude
- Likes to get into fights on the network and tends to pester people he doesn't like (well, and people he doesn't mind)
- Known for being a recluse outside of missions and not really spending time with other outsiders, at least in public. Does however do side-missions with other outsiders, particularly when it comes to "cleaning up crime"

EASILY OBSERVED KNOWLEDGE
- One of several Outsiders who pilots a big robot in battle. His is the beige one with the green and orange accents and the gigantic fucking guns on the back.
- Since around summer of last year, locals have been mass-producing snap together model kits based on said robot. You can buy one if you want. He doesn't get royalties though :(
- A trained soldier who can hold his own in hand-to-hand combat as well.
- Works out regularly.
- Most frequented common areas at the main base are the gym and the hangar.
- Likes to give nicknames.
- Somewhat fussy about his hair care routine, takes the time to style it every morning.
- Pretty laid back, likes to joke around and have a good time when he can.

FREE AND OPEN KNOWLEDGE (but you'd have to ask him or someone else to know it)
- He's a genetically modified human known as a coordinator. All that really means here is that he's pretty much immune to diseases, and he has extra sharp senses.
- Back home he works for a military force called ZAFT.
- Yzak is literally his commanding officer there.
- He and Yzak have been besties since they started out in military academy together.
- They're also dating now, and have been since this past November... It's fairly open knowledge, but also neither of them are big fans of PDA, so it's also easy to just. Not know.
- Also hails from the same world as Athrun, Cagalli and Shinn.
- Athrun is another friend he's known since his academy days. They had their differences in the past, but Dearka almost kind of sees him as family at this point.
- Between missions, he'll sometimes pick up part-time hours at a mechanic shop which services robots and AIs. He can probably hook you up with parts if you need em'.
- Athrun's the real robotics guy of their bunch, but in the months before he showed up to join LILITH, Dearka was hitting the books and teaching himself to do maintenance on his own equipment. He's retained those skills and can lend a hand with minor projects if needed.

• From the City, on [unknown planet]. Is careful about what information they give out about it
• Even more cautious about the info they give on their profession. Will generally just say they're a manager, dealt with things similar to kaiju, and might specifically say the company they work for deals with things called Distortions.
• Head is a flaming clock, so probably hard to miss that way.
• But looks like this when off-base (though in regular outfit rather than work uniform)
• Uses text to speech. Their real "voice" is the various ticking noises, bells, and chimes behind it.
• These sounds are almost completely muffled when cloaked (exceptions being a faint chime or train whistle if surprised or panicked enough).
• Amnesiac --> Might skirt around the subject unless asked about it directly (this fact is out there on their data sheet for all to see)
• Frequently offers consultations -- they're basically mental health check-ins
• Doesn't sleep, so you might see them around at odd hours
• Workaholic
• Occasionally drops by the Kyoto base to use the holograms to practice fighting/self-defense
• Might try and grab groups of people to go with them into the simulation room to practice new strategies??

• Ten foot tall lizard| Sometimes 7ft tall pink haired guy.

• A couple of Millions of Years Old. He is not shy about sharing this, he's posted it on the network often enough too. He doesn't know the exact number though.

• King of the Titans. Titans. He insists on "Titan" to differentiate himself and Gigan from the kaiju they're fighting.

• Has a Thing for Coffee. If he's wandering around the base he probably has a cup with him.

• After being made mascot of Kaijucon you can find merch of him all over the place? He actually has a collection going of his own, go figure.

• Fully aware that Godzilla is a "mythological" figure in a lot of worlds, including this one. He has seen most of the Showa and Heisei movies at this point.

• Downtime activities he can be found doing include; Using the simulator to train, going to the firing range to drill, cleaning firearms in his room or in a common area, sword sparring with anyone who's willing (Which he does in both Lizard and Human mode.)

• When not at base he can be found at his day job as a Professor at the Neo-Tokyo University. He enjoys this job quite a lot and is very proud that he gets to teach young humans. Even if the subject he teaches is kind of niche he's still managed to gain himself a fan following amongst the students. He has no idea that some of them are Into him. Bless his heart.

• Built a fortified nest on the beach in Okinawa. He can be found out there basking in the sun or hunting crabs.

• Possibly responsible for the sinking of the Titanic. He doesn't like to talk about it but it's pretty obvious.

• Likes Moths, poetry, swords, leisure rides on his motorcycle, and swimming around the back rivers and streams outside the city limits to explore the wilderness.

• Lately he's been trying to fill the role of a "kami" for the area. He's been spending time at various shrines in the area mostly in quiet contemplation, he always brings offerings for the local deities.

• Helps out with the Brasov orphans when he can. Has most of them calling him "Gojira-sama" at this point

• If he spars with someone outside of his human form he's nine times out of ten he's holding back. He's concerned going all out could actually hurt someone if they aren't Gigan.

• The people he considers close enough to call a "Friend" (capital F) are: Laios, Lucy, Bakugo, Ereshkigal, Hiyori, Gigan, and Yato. Radiou's pretty much on that list all but officially now too.

• Heavily dislikes Shinn. He will snort smoke out of his nostrils just seeing the guy. It's a problem.

• He has a cat! A battle scarred black tom cat who tends to sleep on him, sometimes even perches on Goji's head while he's walking around base.

• Second Flagship of the Sakura Empire's First Carrier Division and proud of it. If you've ever exchanged more than two sentences with her she's told you this.
• She doesn't go anywhere without Kiko anymore. Kiko is a shikigami that takes the form of a pure white nine-tailed fox, her size varies depending on the situation. She can go from the size of a normal fox to the size of a small van, usually she stays about as large as a wolfhound. In public Kaga passes her off as a genetically modified designer pet.
• Her right arm is a robotic replacement fully from the shoulder down. It's black, the joints are clearly visible, and from the shoulder down the length it's marked with "CVHA-1117" in gold lettering.
• Always wears a jade broach and a necklace with a silver axe pendant on the chain.
• Works at the local Inari shrine as a miko. She takes the work very seriously.
• Follows Akagi around whenever time and circumstances permit her. Usually walks a few steps behind like some kind of vaguely murderous shadow.
• Kaga's free time that's her own is spent running herself through the simulator, hunting kaiju in the wild, or cooking in the cafeteria. She's fully willing to show people how to cook if they ask and if they happen by while she's working they'll be treated to whatever she's making.
• She enjoys sake. It's obvious.
• On Mission or just out in the wilderness on her own business she'll usually have aircraft in the air. Kaga being around means the sound of rotors from her helicopters or jet engines from her jets. The aircraft are usually the size of rc toys but she can scale them up to be usable by people. If anyone ever needs a pick-up in a pinch or something dropped off and they reach out she's more than happy to send along a helicopter to do whatever needs doing.
• Recently she's picked up a sword and can be found practicing with it. She prefers to do so outside in any wooded areas.
• Can be found in the baths at Odd Hours, usually drinking.
• She has a huge weakness for Kitsune Udon and Inari Sushi.

He lives IN SPACE in hourglass colonies called PLANTs, and he is a soldier of its military called ZAFT

Coordinators vs baseline Naturals is the root of why he's been in WARRRRRRSSSS for the last like 5 years please he needs a nap

Is an intelligence officer due to his extremely high intelligence that helps him gather more intelligence, damn that's so much intelligence

Dating this cute nerd but he's not very PDA about it, even though you can likely see Dearka giving him the simp eye often because how could he not

They're hanging out all the time too so you will likely see Dearka where Yzak is and vice versa, bonded pair do not separate

Sometimes Athrun is there too and Yzak will likely be yelling at him because that is his RIVAL (one sided, Athrun wants nothing to do with this nonsense)

• He is GASP a vampire. Well, vampire spawn. He would normally keep that on the down low (but look at him, he obviously is a vampire) but since LILITH knew from the start and said he'd be protected he figured there was no real reason to keep it secret. If your character knows he's one and would tell others, feel free to do so. He'll just be slightly weirded out if someone he didn't tell knows, even if he knows his public syndata file mentions it.
• He does NOT talk about what happened to him after being turned into a vampire spawn nor what he did as one. His syndata hints toward Not Nice Things, but doesn't go into details. He would probably say he was still a magistrate while trying to keep his affliction secret if people asked.
• He is fed donated blood by LILITH when available, but when blood is needed for emergencies he hunts. Characters can see him doing that, or characters can find drained animals laying about, etc. He wouldn't go after dogs or cats, though. The human blood he tries to drink privately in his room, except during kaiju fights when he needs boosts. When you see him with a glass of red, it's just wine. He doesn't drink from any Outsiders personally (yet).
• He spends a lot of his off time reading physical books in various common areas with his wine. Sometimes he might be watching something on a television but he's not too sure about television shows and movies. He does like being able to listen to music whenever he likes, and sticks to classical.
• Has a parasite in his brain from back home that keeps him from burning up in the sun, able to enter private residences without invitation, and safely cross running water. He doesn't really bring the parasite up unless someone pushes to know why he can be in the sun, but it's also in his syndata file. He's not really trying to keep it secret, it's just a nuisance to explain everything that revolves around the parasite, and he's ever so busy lazing around drinking wine.
• He'd freely talk about his world to people, too. He's from Baldur's Gate, in the continent Faerun, on the planet Toril. He'll talk about magic, and all the races, and what history he knows that he wouldn't be too bored to tell.
• What money he makes he basically spends on nice pieces of physical clothing. Nothing tech-fancy, just fashionably expensive.

Raidou Kuzunoha XIV | Devil Summoner | Everlight

Here he is, the Outsider's busiest little bee!

• Raidou has been an Outsider for well over a year now, but he comes from Japan in the 1920s. He still stumbles with the occasional difference in time and culture, or technological misstep.
  
• Raidou trains regularly, mostly with his katana. When time/space/missions don't allow for kendo, then he goes for long jogs. Cardio is important!
  
• Hurt after a battle? Raidou will always heal you up. He has the LILITH nanobot upgrade, meaning he needs to at least hold your hand to do so.
  
• At the former base, and once the new one is up and running, Raidou can often found in the kitchen or the greenhouse. He likes to cook, but his sweet tooth has lead him to learning to bake too.
  
• His biggest preoccupation, though, is his Okinawa garden project. He's reached out to others about it on the network a couple of times, and is always looking for volunteers to help build, plant, weed, harvest... There are many garden boxes set up from reclaimed materials, and a greenhouse underway. It was put on hold and the remaining supplies donated to the rebuilding of the base, but he's anxious to get back to it. What started as a project he thought he'd pass to others has become quite a passion for him.
  
• Speaking of Okinawa, Raidou would keep the freezers stocked with crab meat from the crabs at Okinawa. One crab goes a long way! So if your character doesn't want to have yet another ration bar, just check the freezer first, and steam yourself up something delicious. He'll bring fruit from the groves there too. He also takes what he can to the orphanage, though he usually cooks it first.
  
• Raidou takes his civilian job seriously. He's training to be a shinto priest, and does a lot of studying and work at the local inari shrine.
  
• In the wintertime, loves to go ice skating and makes sure to get in as much as he can while there's ice out there.
  
• Raidou is part of Ratio's research team as a procurement contact. He's talked to a lot of citizens while gathering materials for Okinawa, so he knows where to source reclaimed wood, metal, etc. His former life as a detective in training means he's good at hitting the streets and looking out for things and people that can help.
  
• Raidou's quiet nature and not-great socialization growing up means he doesn't have a lot of super close friends here. Most of the time you will find him practically glued to Yuji Itadori, following him around like a lovesick puppy. He's also close friends with Katsuki Bakugo, if you can imagine that. He's trying really hard to make more friends!
  
• Always wearing a hat. If not his school uniform hat, then usually a black baseball cap in place of it.
  
• The key to his heart are coffee and sweets lol

Roland Fortis | Case Study of Vanitas | Everlight

• Roland is still relatively new! He comes from the late 1890s Paris in a world that is a modern/fantasy/slightly steampunky mishmash. Still, it's been a huge culture shock and he's working hard to get adjusted. Among the first things Roland did here was look up books on history and Japanese culture to help get acclimated. He's a voracious reader.
  
• Roland is what's known as a Chasseur, a vampire hunter for the Catholic church. He's been a part of it for at least a decade, and has risen to one of their top-ranking captains. However, thanks to his canon point, he's not about to slaughter any vampire that walks through the door. He'd done some learning and growing recently...
  
• Roland is just a normal human, but he's an incredible fighter. He's very strong and fast, and carries a strange weapon on his back, wrapped in cloth. It has three different forms it can take.
  
• He'll also be found at the base gym a lot. Gotta get those weights in. If you need an enthusiastic and supportive helper, he's your guy. You can also sit on his back while he does pushups. He doesn't mind!
  
• Back home, he had an interest in aircrafts, and has even done some piloting of small planes. He was sad he wasn't allowed in the cockpit of the LILITH plane. :C
  
• Roland's civilian job is a church deacon and orphanage caretaker. Roland is pretty devout in a weird sort of way. It's hard to explain. But he won't hesitate to tell you how much God loves you! Back home, he came from a really poor, large family, and became a Chasseur while young to help support them. This has caused some of his colleagues to believe he's only in it for the money.
  
• If you ever get a look at his arms/hands, or the rest of him for that matter, Roland is covered in a ton of scars. Such is Chasseur life.
  
• A pretty good cook, known for his homey, filling meals. Also famous among the Chasseurs for being able to drink each and every one of them under the table.
  
• The manga author has stated that he has a hard time staying in relationships because he loves EVERYONE too equally, so his partners accuse him of not actually loving them or not giving them enough attention...

Anyway my point is it's not a very common name and I think it'd be funny to handwave that Dearka once overheard the name of his weapon and kind of dissociated for a few seconds.

Taryon Darrington

Taryon is always being followed by his 9-foot-tall automaton Doty, usually carring his supplies but often writing down Taryon's spoken notes on a tablet.

He has four roombas that he keeps as pets and uses on the battlefield to carry support spells to people far away.

Is part of Dr. Ratio's research group and has his own workbench. His specialty is infusing magic into technology.

Runs a regular board game night and is open to starting a DnD group.

Spends a lot of time in the morning getting ready and fixing his hair. More often than not is told to stop hogging the mirrors in bathrooms.

Those who overhear his conversations will learn he's into nerdy books and shows, and he's often found heading to the library to get a new book.

Has been hanging out with Astarion more often, even inviting him to hang out in his room...

Big fan of the feral cats. Always checking in on them and looking out for them.

Spends a lot of time training, either in the gym or the simulation rooms, trying to hold himself back so he doesn't break things.

From Mifune City, Japan. But originally, she was from Nagano up until her last year of elementary school.

Has gotten pretty high grades back home, except for Literature.

Her original surname was "Asakami", but the main branch went bankrupt when Fujino turned 12, so her mother remarried into their branch family "Asagami".

Back home, she went to a prestigious all-girls private Catholic school, Reien Girls' Academy. One of the sponsors of said school is her step-father-father, and it's more than likely that she's rich.

Very polite and well-mannered, despite being part of Brimstone.

As she's one of the newer recruits, outside of missions and whatnot, Fujino can usually be found doing a task/activity, etc. by herself...

Actually doesn't know her eyes have a proper name. It's on her Syndata file, though.

Her downtime activities consist of wandering around by herself at most hours of the day, except for very late hours of the night/extra early mornings and also attends movies by lonesome. Most of the time it's usually horror flicks, but she is slowly starting to branch out to some other genres here!

Stops by church on Sundays, but it's more out of a routine obligation (thanks Reien) than actual belief.

Works at a cafe as a waitress! They do deliveries sometimes, so occasionally you might find her dropping off food somewhere. As Fujino is still a teen though, she's limited to just places within walking distance from the cafe.

It's not necessary since she doesn't have her senses dulled here anymore, but when she's alone in a quiet area with little to no people, she tries imitating some actions and emotions in an effort to pass herself off as "normal". Mostly from what she's seen from movies, but on occasion, she might try and imitate any combat moves (i.e. just really simple things like a sword slash). On even rarer moments, she'll try any interesting dance moves like this. and then gives up after doing it 😔

Really out of her depth when it comes to fighting (she only has her eyes, after all!!), so whenever time permits her to, she can be found training as much as possible. So far, she's learning how to duck and dodge.

Can make some pretty delicious donuts!

Proclaims to dislike violence though she can get pretty nasty herself...

Not too fond of lying since she feels she isn't too good at it, but she'll do it just to keep people from asking too much about her personal life back home.

- Pilots one of the big robots -- hangs out in and around it a lot, very clearly his.
- He takes LILITH stuff very seriously and spends a lot of time training and patrolling. Before the Imugi attack on Tokyo, he spent a lot of time practicing sword stuff and in the simulator (and also cooking smoke bombs in the kitchen). Since the Imugi opened the permanent Rift, he's spent a lot of time patrolling.
- He visits the Brasov orphans a lot. Sometimes he takes one or two on field trips out of the metro area but more often he bums around playing video games with them.
- He decompresses by playing video games on the network, taking long motorcycle rides up and down the coast, and napping.
- Is pretty loud, you've probably heard him shouting.
- He has a pink flip-phone on him at almost all times. If you're on a mission that involves sharing a room, your character may see him hold it while he sleeps.
- UAGHRWGH HIS FAMILY IS STILL DEAD.

Most importantly
- His fake job is being a motorcycle delivery driver, and he actually does his fake job when he wants to buy junk food. Okay but I like to think Shinn has ended up delivering to Godzilla more than once when Goji's working a long day at the university. It's usually a tense event. But on the bright side Godzilla always tips well, just because he dislikes Shinn doesn't mean he doesn't reward good work.

Casually bookmarking this page, because Rico's one nosy motherfucker!! 🤫 I dropped the ball on his second month here, so I'll try and pick things back up and say he's been skulking around-ish between missions and being off base a lot. He can be social/charming, but only on his own terms and when in a good mood. If approached in a bad mood, he'll generally just grunt and fuck off.

He's pretty new in town, so not all that much is known about him yet:

- Is a clone, former "Judge" (no, he hasn't really clarified), was "unjustly arrested and imprisoned" (that's what it says on his syndata file, anyway) by his clone-brother and is seeking revenge. Has said some kinda unhinged stuff about his brother and hates his guts. Really normal stuff.
- Up at really odd hours and likes to pace around the base or surroundings. Like 4am, 5am. On the flipside of this, he disappears to take naps at odd hours in the afternoon too.
- Shoves sugar packets into his pockets.
- Might have been seen in the men's locker room ripping open an aforementioned sugar packet and throwing it back like a shot.
- Stupidly good hand-eye coordination.
- He got a pretty good hit on the Kaiju with a bigass sniper rifle, but he missed another shot he lined up because it yelled at him :( temporarily lost his hearing and sulked on the plane back.
- Maybe during the fight, he provided cover fire for your character to pull off some crazy powers? Or ran distraction on some mummies at the right time? He definitely headshot a few.
- Works out like crazy in the gym.

She's a Blood Fiend! That's a Blood Devil inhabiting a human body like a hermit crab. Power makes no secret of this, and frequently talks smack about how pitiful humans are, and how awesome and terrifying fiends and devils are in comparison.

She has crazy blood powers! She can form constructs out of her own blood, mostly weapons like hammers, swords and spears. If she does this too much, she gets woozy from blood loss and passes out. If you fought the kaiju this month, you probably saw Power wailing on the thing's knees with a big blood hammer.

She loves cats, and works at a cat cafe! She has definitely tried to bring a cat or two home with her. Please don't fire her, cat cafe.

Power is very, very attached to Denji and Aki, and can frequently be found at their apartments. She'll just let herself in, and then flop on one of them. It's a sibling thing.

She is a habitual liar, who frequently talks herself up to make herself sound cool. Luckily, Power is also easily distracted and most of her bullshit is pretty obvious.

Power hates vegetables! She'll pick them out of her food and grumble if she's forced to actually eat them. She much prefers drinking blood to eating food, and is very eager to try some kaiju blood.

She has an excellent sense of smell, and will sometimes just take off in the middle of a conversation if she smells something interesting, like a stray cat that she absolutely has to pet.

• kind of rude, but in a straightforward, no patience for dithering way that you expect from old men, not from kids who look like they're seventeen or something. his japanese is slightly archaic, but he'll drop in modern loan words that seem a little out of place on occasion. no honorifics for anyone. whole lot of attitude from a guy who's only 5'6" and looks like he needs carded to buy booze.
  
• one of those magic bullshit earth ghosts! similar to tezcatlipoca and ereshkigal, but those are gods, and gilgamesh is a demigod... and he's a real guy, probably.
  
• yeah, he's the same muramasa as on 🅱️ikipedia. no, its not pronounced "sengo," no, his swords aren't cursed what do you think happens when you make a lot of weapons that are meant to kill or injure people, dumbass? they do what they're made to do, and sometimes important people are the ones getting hurt. no, he didn't have beef with masamune and no, he didn't know the guy either.
  
• he's that guy who won't wear a shirt on base! just his servant outfit. if he has to leave base and go to a populated area, he'll wear that one set of freebie clothes. rift free kaiju elimination also... will just be in his usual outfit lmao.
  
• by the same point, he's easily identifiable by the white haori he has with him when on missions that require plugsits! (he had it in egypt, yes.)
  
• fights with magically manifested katana and other swords.
  
• in the egypt kaiju fight, he got the k.o. by chopping the lynx's leg off and then wedging a sword into the chest cavity, but also spent the time immediately after passed out and had to be literally hot potatoed around until he could be magically stabilized by rin.
  
• if a character is sensitive to magical energy, they may have noticed that he kind of used his magical core for fuel during the k.o., but it was rocket fuel so it exploded in a way that helped him kill the kaiju, which is why he was... like that after. but by the time the gang gets back to japan, he's perfectly fine. he was bullied into a contract so he doesn't have to do the rocket fuel life hack again.
  
• do you have a sword, either from home or LILITH-issued, and want it checked on? bring it to him. knife sharpened? same business.
  

TIME SPENT

• spends about 80% of his time working on or in the new smithy located on the kyoto base. he spent every free waking hour of March (and that's a LOT OF HOURS WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO SLEEP) working on getting it repaired, and is now in the process of trying to make the tools to properly outfit it full time, though he can cheat and make temporary replacements with magical energy. he is in need of people who can get him raw materials: lumber, charcoal, scrap metal, etc.
  
• always working on something, unless actively pulled away from his work by the short list of people he's decided can do that for no goddamn reason (rin, cagalli, yuta, tsurumaru and ratio) or anyone else, provided they can come up with a sufficient reason to get him to leave.
  
• his work consists of: blacksmith asmr no commentary 24 hour loop.
  
• will take breaks every day to cook meals, usually breakfast or dinner.
  
• if someone shows up while he's working and mentions being bored, he will assign a task and expect it to be done... but he doesn't chase people away either, provided they're not being a nuisance. he'll assume they want him to make/do something for them by default.
