βΆ 002. TEST DRIVE & SIMULATION #2
TEST DRIVE & SIMULATION #2
βΆ 001. ARRIVAL / CAFETERIA.
It happens in the blink of an eye -- a dash of time. You're taken from where you were. What you were doing.. it isn't important anymore, and slowly, you give up to desire your normal life. When you awake, figures are looking down on you from a surgical table.
"Yeah, this one will do; let's take them to the rest," That's all you see before losing consciousness again, only to wake up in a pod with many others.
"Your questions will be answered soon enough as I'm sure you will have many," a female, robotic voice says.
Just then, your pod opens in a dim corridor with many others. Your new life is about to begin... whether you like it or not.
The pods drain their stasis fluid which wakens each Outsider. When Outsiders emerge from their pod in only their undergarments which have been supplied to them and head to a locker room in the medical bay, to find a towel to dry off with, a set of gray loungewear to wear as LILITH makes the final decision in organizing the Outsider to their rightful teams. If a character has any accessibility needs, they will be found here. It's about then they will feel a sharp pain at the back of their eyes, almost like thereβs a foreign body lodged on the inside of their head. This pain will subside quickly as their body adapts to the changes, but there will always be a sensation of something being not quite right. That their bodies have been changed forever. They would be correct in thinking that. In the pod, all Outsiders have been surgically fitted with ocular and brain implants that will enable them to communicate with LILITH and the rest of the crew, and feed them the information they require. Almost like a computer screen has been loaded into their brains, they will see a loading screen as the implant completes its download. A questionnaire will then pop up, waiting for their answer. A voice, robotic and feminine, will also read along in their brain for them.
β β β LOADING COMPLETE β¦ BEGIN ORIENTATION β¦
The system will give Outsiders one chance to provide a truthful answer and choose their username and civilian identity. Should they refuse to cooperate, the implant will download the answer directly from their brain (and give them a username or civilian name against their will). This questionnaire will then be posted on the network for all to view and reply to. Almost like an ice-breaker, if you will. LILITH wants all their newest recruits to learn about each other!
Outsiders will receive a quick brief about their situation: They will be told that the year is 2278, and they have been taken to Neo Tokyo, one of the last bastions of mankind in a world terrorized by various Kaiju and monsters. Only a third of the population remains, and LILITH has gathered talented people from other dimensions here as a last ditch effort to save humanity. Outsiders are free to continue asking LILITH questions through their implant, but thereβs no guarantee they will provide them with a straight answer β¦
Outsiders will also notice an implant in their dominant wrist. This implant has a barcode in it that will enable them to purchase goods from the local stores in Neo Tokyo. They will receive a starting balance of 10,000 KRYPTOS (about USD 66), which is barely enough for a few good meals, groceries and supplies. They can view their current balance through a hologram window projected by their ocular implant.
Once they leave the medical bay, theyβll be able to grab a quick meal in the cafeteria and mingle with the other Outsiders just waking up. Todayβs menu is fugu (pufferfish), miso soup, and rice, all packed neatly in a food ration tray. Unlike last month, this meal looks like it is carefully prepared for the new year!
That familiar, robotic voice is heard again:

We hope this New Year will bring you fortune and good health as you, well.. fight for your lives here. :)"
βΆ 002. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Preparations begin at the end of the year with everyone cleaning and getting their last minute shopping in before one of the biggest holidays of the year. The quiet shrines of the city have begun to come to life as they set up their New Year displays and vendors begin to set up their tables and tents outside their grounds. Characters may find themselves roped into helping with the vendor setup.
By New Year's Eve, the shrines are alive with warm, welcoming lights but none can enter the gates until midnight. That shouldn't be a problem because, outside the shrine grounds, there are plenty of vendors selling classic and trendy street foods. Other vendors sell masks, light up toys, dolls, and other goods.
As midnight draws near, everyone begins to line up to enter the shrine grounds. Some shrines may even be offering warm tea or sake to people waiting in line. There's a final countdown and a drum bangs. The line begins to move and everyone moves up to pray for the new year. After praying, characters can buy charms or pull for fortunes. Good luck!

βΆ 003. BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE.
While the help around the base gets dispersed out for the New Years preparations, things at the base arenβt as peaceful as they should be. During the baseβs last quarter review, a few routine checks were overlooked, and as a result the pipes are frozen and the centralized heating is on the fritz.
With no real access to warm water at the base, Outsiders are given vouchers for the hot spring and local bath houses. They are encouraged to maintain a good sense of hygiene and will be prompted on their ocular implants to remember to take a bath. The city has a number of options, but Outsiders will be warned to choose carefully. Apparently, the new trend in the city are rejuvenating waters that have different effects once they touch skin. Rather than actual physical changes, these effects seem to tamper with the mind, making those who soak in these waters more susceptible to suggestion. Whatever that means! Hopefully no one asks for some extra KRYPTOS when youβre feeling unusually generous.
Unfortunately, even back at the base, it's basically a tundra. Everyone will be encouraged to keep warm the old school way— blankets, extra layers, and maybe even a bit of body heat sharing will be encouraged. Whatβs a better way to foster teamwork?

"Holy shit, I am still.. so fucking drunk.. damn. Okay, uh, let's do this.. I'm going to try not to puke, but not making any promises. Never again am I going to try to out drink Captain Yamakawa. She's small, don't be fooled, that bitch can drink like a fish. Dunno why, but there's something hot about that. If you don't know who I am by now, my name is .. is ... S.. Seok .. ughh.. hrk-- "

βΆ 004. SIMULATION #2.
At different times during the week, Outsiders will be summoned into the simulation room and instructed to don their LILITH-issued plugsuits. They will then be paired or grouped up to conduct a battle simulation. After being ushered into the training grounds, the room will turn pitch dark, and a briefing sheet will be projected from their eye implant.
They will be able to access the briefing sheet at any time during the simulation by simply asking to see it. After each Outsider has read the mission brief, the simulation will begin, and they will find themselves right in the picturesque little town of Furano, Hokkaido, Japan. In the winter months, it looks like a snow-covered wonderland, with wooden cottages and oak trees on a backdrop of a snowy mountain. There is a ski resort too. It looks like a wonderful place to spend what remains of winter.
If you ignore the Yuki-Daruma that are trudging through the small town and turning it upside down. Seriously, what's with the simulation today? Is this really a Kaiju? Last you saw of Seok Dang, he was a belligerent mess, so he's a bit more ... liberal with the storyline today. Don't mind him.
The Yuki-Daruma do not eat people but they will be destroying homes, crushing civilians and burying them under a mountain of snow. Given that Seok Dang is intoxicated right now, Outsiders may find way more glitches than usual too (Why do these civilians keep running toward the monster rather than away from it? Why is that one civilian sipping tea while on fire? Who knows.)
Non-compliance with the simulation today ... won't result in very much happening, given that Seok Dang isn't monitoring. However, you will remain trapped in the simulation until he decides to let you out. In fact, everyone will remain trapped in the simulation for at least a few hours after all the monsters are killed because your resident simulation engineer seems to have passed out in the control booth? (Characters who die will just need to suffer with their wounds. Sorry.)
If you shout at the sky loud enough, maybe he will wake up.

β β β MONSTER DEBRIEF SHEET:
NAME: YUKI-DARUMA
HEIGHT: 4m to infinite (Due to melding together)
WEIGHT: 100kg
CLASS: UNABLE TO BE CLASSED - UNKNOWN
THREAT LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE
LOCATION: HOKKAIDO, JAPAN (SIMULATION)
ABILITIES: Despite appearing as a snowman, the βsnowβ they are made of and throw are far more dense due to their ability to affect the gravity of what it touches. This is also why its weight may be far beyond what it listed. They are also capable of melding into one another and growing far more formidable.
WEAKNESS: Heat, light, and liquid.
EXTRA NOTES: Due to how large the species is capable of becoming, it is suggested to work in pairs or teams to defeat those that have already merged.
β β β MISSION OBJECTIVE:
β Completely destroy the YUKI-DARUMA before they become any larger and destroy the city
β Rescue of civilian lives from YUKI-DARUMA
β Search and rescue of civilians buried in snow
β Organize safe and orderly evacuation of civilians to the designated emergency shelters
β Protection of safe zone from YUKI-DARUMA
β Teamwork to destroy the larger YUKI-DARUMA
EXTRA NOTES: Each YUKI-DARUMA killed equates 1 KILL POINT, and each civilian rescued equates 1 RESCUE POINT. Killing civilians, whether on purpose or by accident, results in rescue points being subtracted. Working with those in the same respective team gives 1 EXTRA POINT. Every teamβs score will be tallied up after the simulation ends.

βΆ 005. BRACE YOURSELVES, SOMETHING IS COMING.
Besides those few times the Outsiders have been dropped into the simulation and left to struggle, it's been a relatively easy month for everyone so far. The local population seems to think so too, remarking that it's been a while since they've last had a wide scale attack, that it must be some sort of holiday blessing. Of course, things are never quiet for too long.
On the evening of the 5th of January, an earthquake seems to rock the bustling city of Neo Tokyo. It's not large enough to cause significant structural damage, but it's certainly large enough to destroy some of the older buildings, cause havoc in traffic and send the civilians into a frenzy. The local population seem to be stricken with terror, staying home whenever they can. When asked what has them so afraid, they will tell you that 'it's coming ...'.
They are right to be afraid. Shortly after, a storm hits the city, sending a downpour of rain that does not seem to relent. Those who linger by Tokyo Bay will notice some disturbance in the waters. The waves seem to be picking up when they're usually calm, and they splash against the shoreline, growing bigger each time. It eventually gets to a point the waves are standing several meters high. It's a tsunami, and it's heading directly for the city, flooding everything in its path.
As their first call to action since arriving, Outsiders will receive a mission brief in their implant that will pop up in their vision no matter where they may be.
A few days after the disaster, the sun is shining on glistening snow and ice. Outsiders have been given a few nights hostel stay since their arrival with one another categorized by team in the bay area until the mission is finished. Everlight & Brimstone will be staying in Moonlight Inn and Redemption & Revelation will be staying in 11 Hours. Both hostels are similar with two bunk beds in each room. A handful of buildings near the bay area have been demolished by the tsunami and flooding. Outsiders will be encouraged to help clean up, being provided with safety masks and gloves to prevent inhaling anything.. too toxic. It's a mystery what is in the ocean water nowadays. LILITH will set Outsiders out to help with any after math clean up-- those with any sorts of healing abilities will be ushered into the streets and hospitals to assist. Civilians who are curious of these kinds of abilities will know Outsiders are recruits of LILITH, a place with higher technology than most. As for the threat that seemed imminent, it seems to have vanished... for now. A new message will appear on the Outsider's implant with a game plan:

β β β NEW MISSION BRIEFOutsiders will be sent to Tokyo Bay via a helicopter and ordered to hold back or weaken the tsunami (if possible), rescue civilians, minimise structural damage, organise safe evacuation and act as first responders. Good luck everyone! Neo Tokyo is counting on you!
LILITH has detected unnatural weather and wave formations. We will continue to investigate this seismic activity, but there is historical reason to believe that a Kaiju attack is imminent. As LILITH endeavors to obtain a status briefing on this threat, all Outsiders are to respond immediately to minimise civilian casualties and structural damage.

β β β MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
RETREAT BACK TO BASE. WE WILL DEPART AT 15:00."Captain Yamakawa speaking. You all did your.. best. I guess that's all I can really ask for. We will be sending out own investigation team out to locate the threat as it seems to have retreated. Some of these monsters.. they can teleport or be very good at hiding. We ask you return to base and await further instructions. Pray we don't lose sight of it."
βΆ 006. AFTERWORD.
Welcome to our second TDM! All TDM threads are game canon; characters who don't app will be glitched out of this world. As TDM will act as the event, existing characters are heavily encouraged to participate. We encourage this format for top levels: CHARACTER | CANON | CURRENT / NEW CHARACTER. '
As a note, while we currently have no available player slots, new players are still welcome to use this TDM to get samples, as well as submit applications to the queue for future review when applications open. Please see the applications page for more details.
Characters who are test driving and have not been assigned to a team may stay in whichever hostel they like. Donβt suit your fancy? Feel free to check out our main base and locations page and make up your own prompts!
Use the code provided if you'd like to participate in the ice breaker and place it in your top level along with your other prompts. Anything such as civilian name or username can be marked as UNDECIDED if you're unsure of what you'd like your character to have for now. Though it says 'Orientation', existing characters can still participate in the ice-breaker.
Please note that all tags in this log will count for 2 reward points each. Have fun!

βΆ 004. SIMULATION #2.
π₯ β SIMULATION #2 - Yuki-Daruma
[Finally. Something to work him up away from all the bitter cold. He's expecting something frigid in the simulation, because why the fuck would it not be? But monster snow skeletons ravaging a quaint little Japanese town full of people too stupid for their own good?! WHAT KIND OF FUCKING MORON MADE THIS SIMULATION?! He's going to kick the ever-living shit out of Seok Dang when he gets out of here! (Even if the ski resort at least looks like it'd be a fun post-battle diversion.)
The frustration makes the battle somewhat easier, considering the hot-blooded hero is already fuming by the time he actually gets warmed up enough to start making explosions. (Piss off! It takes him longer to warm up when it's cold and dry! That's how sweat works!) Dynamight's explosions work well enough against the Yuki-Daruma though, ripping through their frosty skeletons and sending them toppling. He focuses on crippling the walking icy stalkers and evaporating oncoming snowballs, leaving rescue and evacuation to others unless he's able to reach them first. But with the creatures getting toppled and struggling to advance, that makes dealing with civilians a lot easier for his teammates.]
Either take those icy fuckers out or get these morons to safety!
[Still doesn't stop Dynamight from yelling orders to any other Outsider who might be in the simulation with him.]
3-1
He's not sure what to expect when he walks in, but finding someone else in there is a little surprising. He wasn't intending to intrude.
Oh. It's this guy. Did he do this somehow?]
Ah. Sorry.
no subject
Though thinking back on it... he should've locked the damn door.
Bakugo jerks up in the bath when that looming black shadow walks in. For a second, his instinct to fight flares up. But then quickly recognizes that conductor-looking ensemble anywhere.]
WHAT THE FUCK, SHASHOU?! KNOCK FIRST!!
no subject
Even though unseen, he reflexively tucks down the brim of his hat to cover his reddening face.]
Sorry, there was-- I heard noises? And then saw steam. I thought the heat might have come back on and caused the pipes to burst.
no subject
Even though Raidou's slipped off around the corner or whatever, he still feels his presence there, unmoving and lingering. Bakugo figures it's due to the heat of the room. No surprise, considering the damn freeze outside.]
Tch, we'd be so damn lucky. Close the door if you're gonna fucking linger!
[Letting the steam out. Though Raidou's got permission to stay. That's good?]
no subject
He can't help but ask, though.]
...How is it warm in here? What did you do?
no subject
If Raidou wants to sit and soak in the heat in quiet, that's fi-
...
Maybe he'll kill him instead.]
My Quirk. [This bastard can't see it from there, can he. Shit.] I can create explosions with the sweat on my palms.
no subject
"Quirk"? [People here had all kinds of magic he'd never seen before. Makes sense that it might be called something else entirely. Sweat explosions, though? That almost sounds like a joke. Not that Bakugo seemed like the joking type.]
I... see. That's a new one on me. A lucky thing to have in this situation.
no subject
Aa. A superpower. Special ability. It's what my world calls those extraordinary things. [Plenty of other worlds have different terms for them and he's come across a few already. Whatever Raidou's calls his in his world, he can apply that here.
Unless he doesn't have any... which would raise a question in Bakugo.]
Che, you won't see anything like it. [So proud of his Quirk.] You aren't gonna freeze, are you, Shashou?
[That question's pure taunting, as if daring the guy to wind up dead before their first big mission.]
no subject
He huffs at that question though, even if he's still sitting against the door with his knees to his chest, arms wrapped around him.]
Absolutely not. It's... inconvenient. But nothing I've not experienced before.
[It can get cold up in the Shinoda Mountains, where Raidou grew up with no electricity to keep the homes and shrine warm in the winter. Just the old fashioned way.]
It more makes me wonder about the competency of this organization that they can't fix something like this. [All this technology, and for what?]
no subject
You came from a cold place or you regularly lost power and heat?
[Plenty of people come from colder climates, but usually they've adapted to live in it more or less comfortably. Bakugo figures that's what Raidou's referring to. He can correct him if he's wrong.]
Tch, no shit. This was caused because some idiots overlooked the damn procedure in the first place. [That doesn't speak well of their efficiency either. As Raidou suggests, someone with the power to pull people from other worlds, times, and dimensions is having trouble keeping their damn hot water going?
Though this place IS torn apart by Kaiju... so maybe there's an excuse.]
no subject
[Finally, he's getting the feeling back in his arms and legs, and stretches out.]
...Maybe they should focus on bringing less fighters here, and bring in a couple of mechanics and plumbers while they're at it.
no subject
[Yeah, it certainly gives a time period for Raidou's life and lifestyle. Bakugo's world has advanced a fair bit beyond that date, though due to evolving into a superhero society thanks to the appearance of Quirks, there's been a lot of back and forth in advancement versus entrenchment. Meaning Bakugo's home world isn't populated with flying cars for everyone and holograms all over the place like some futuristic worlds would suggest. Neo Tokyo is more advanced than his world in some aspects.
Which again begs the question to the monsters that have reduced them to this struggling state...]
Some of those extras have skills and knowledge about that kind of technology. Some have powers that can help even outside the battlefield. [He's not disagreeing with Raidou's statement, but at least offering that LILITH got some bonuses with people beyond simply hitting monsters harder.]
no subject
[Like Bakugo said, about powers outside of battle. Case in point: this sauna-like bathroom.] Right, like you figured out here.
[Raidou himself feels lacking in both the practical skills and superpowers departments compared to the other Outsiders. He might be an amazing fighter, but he can't do a lot of thing things people can here. He tries, though. Everlight is no doubt the cleanest and most organized of the halls. He'd definitely would have been spotted sprucing the place up. Domestic skills are still skills, right?
He finally stands up, shakes his blanket loose, and wraps it back around himself.]
Um. Thank you. For letting me warm up.
no subject
[The Outsiders don't know the full scope and depth of the attack and the world they've been brought to. Perhaps it'd make sense that people are unable to tend to all the tech due to the war.]
Tch, I wasn't going to rely on bath vouchers the entire time.
[Not when he had ways of making himself a personal bath. Bakugo leans back against the tub wall again, looking up at the ceiling. Yeah, he's seen Raidou making his rounds of the place, checking to make sure things are in order and cleaned. Despite the taunting nickname, there's a meticulous about the other guy that Bakugo appreciates. He's pretty damn perfectionist about his cleaning too, so... Still doesn't know what kind of combat abilities Raidou has.]
When's the last time you washed off?
no subject
While an onsen is a nice treat, it's not exactly convenient to have to drudge through more cold to get there and back. When Bakugo asks that, Raidou actually has to think about it, which is pretty embarrassing for him even with the circumstances.]
Ah... they day before, I guess. The onsen is nice, though.
no subject
The cold would do that to someone, distracting them from the details of their current situation. The silence he gets in response to the question earns a slight scowl. Great. Too cold to even remember when the last time he took a bath. Makes Raidou's answer suspicious. Or maybe that's just what his irritated brain's thinking.
It's not exactly a communal bathtub, but...]
Get in.
[Bakugo grips the side of the tub and hauls himself up from the warm water, sending it sluicing off his body as he gets to his feet. He grabs the towel off the back of the toilet and sweeps it around his waist as he steps out of the water, dripping all over the small towel set outside the tub.]
Unless you want me to drain it first.
no subject
... You'd do that?
[He really could use it. Maybe after he could go back to doing sword kata without his joints feeling so stiff, even for just a little bit.]
Um. Alright. We can refill and... reheat it? [For lack of a better word. Honestly, he's a little curious to see how this so-called Quirk.]

That's the idea, idiot. [With that, he leans over the side, pulls the drain up, and lets the water start to suck down into the now-raised lid. Guess getting into someone else's bath isn't the same as sinking down in a communal tub or hot spring.
Duh. It's gross to think about.] Wonder how long this place's winter lasts.
[Depending on where in the globe it is. Even if it's called Neo Tokyo, do they know if the place is actually geographically located on their normal "Earth" Japan location?]

4, simulation
Eeeh, you're really good at this!
(It's a real compliment and he uses his scabbard to bat at a stray snowball that comes flying his way. He barely reacts when he swats it away,)
Over there! (He uses his sheathed sword like a baton, pointing straight ahead at what looks like a community center. It's a concrete building and seems to be the newest building in the village. If anywhere is going to be a shelter, it's the most likely choice... and the simulation seems to know it too because guess which area seems to be the most destroyed. It's covered in snow and ice, broken daruma limbs, and many, smaller daruma,) Clear a path for me.
(He's managed to guide a small group of civilians this far. They're currently sheltering in a small shop. The worst part, however, is that it appears one of them is a small child with a bleeding leg. They won't be able to run on their own so their path needs to be as clear as possible so they can move as quickly as possible.)

The proof provided is one of the main reasons why the explosive hero isn't worried about Tsurumaru keeping the civilians safe from any smaller threats that make it past the larger Yuki-Daruma advancing. Whether that's the little icy skeleton freaks or trundling snowballs picking up speed and size the closer they get to the village, Tsurumaru can take care of that shit.]
You're too happy, dammit! [There always seems to be a smile on this guy's face! It's reassuring to the people around the sword at least. Compliments are usually good with Bakugou in small doses and after the action is over. Still snaps at Tsurumaru. He jerks his head to the side at the indication towards the building. It's almost paradoxical to suggest the most-attacked building is also the strongest shelter they've got, but that's natural in a battle with a heartless wretch.]
Don't order me around! [Yelled even as Bakugou hauls his arms back over his head, then slams them downward and unleashes a close-packed stream of explosive blasts. Snow, ice, and debris fly to either side, plenty melting into vapor as the heat sizzles past. The smoke clears enough to show the path rent open towards the shelter, flat (heated) ground amid the snow.] Get moving before the next group shows up.
[If Tsurumaru isn't able, Bakugou's going to take the kid with the crippled leg. (Who's probably split between awe over the explosions and pissing himself because Dynamight is not the most comforting hero in the world...)]

(He replies quickly. He really is having fun. The battlefield is his element and even if his enemies today are different from what he's used to, he thinks of it as an exciting new challenge. If these are the types of enemies they're going to be fighting in the future then he might as well have fun now while this is mostly harmless.
He doesn't mind when Bakugou snaps at him. By now, he's figured out that the boy has an explosive temper. It doesn't take away from him being a competent fighter and especially suited for this assignment. Even now, the boy helps to clear the path for them just as he requested and Tsurumaru can only smile, clearly impressed,)
Well done.
(He won't waste his time with too much praise now. Instead, he turns to the boy who seems so real despite being a simulation.)
Shall we race to the finish line? (His voice is gentle and calm as he holds out a hand to him. Between Tsurumaru and Bakugou, it's clear whcih one has the people skills,) I think we can win.
(The other people in the group look out anxiously at the path, unsure if it's safe or not. The child grabs onto his hand and Tsurumaru is quick to throw the boy onto his back,)
Let's go! I'll lead the charge!
(The charge to safety, that is.)
Bakugou-kun, I'll be counting on you~!
(To cover them.)

Satisfied with his work, Dynamight looks over his shoulder towards the snowy slopes behind them, eyes narrowed in search for more of their opponents. If they're going to be coming, he'll be the one to deal with them, leaving Tsurumaru to continue with the evacuations and their safety.]
Get moving. [Compliment accepted. Back to business. He takes his stand behind the group of people, braced and ready for oncoming snowballs or icy skeletons. Tsurumaru's gentle disposition and cheer as he escorts the child reminds him a lot of Midoriya (why do so many people remind him of Deku, dammit?!) handling a scared victim.
It's called people skills, and Bakugou sucks at them.
Then again, if they're doing it, he doesn't have to deal with some crying kid yelling in his ear or a clingy person freaking out as he's trying to pull them from the snow pile. Dynamight glares behind him again, this time to the evacuees rather than the foes that threaten them. Specifically at Tsurumaru to make sure he's going.]
Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight! [He's in costume, dammit! Call him by his hero name! ... Or just Dynamight, like most people in his world do, because they're not saying that mouthful.] Go!

Tossing his head back, he lets out a loud, bright laugh. He's clearly enjoying all of this and he calls back,)
Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight-kun!
(Yeah, that last bit was totally necessary. He's bold because he's already running, the other simulated evacuees following after him. They race to the center when suddenly the entire world seems to flicker and skip. It's kind of disorienting how everything seems to shift... and suddenly all of the work Bakugou did becomes undone. The snow and ice return, the civilians begin to slip and slide. Even Tsurumaru starts to lose his balance to the point he has to bring himself to a sliding stop and reorient himself.
As if it isn't bad enough, though... it seems everything has reset and the broken chunks of ice and packed snowballs around him begin to reanimate back into restored Yukidaruma. He now has a group of floundering civilians around him and a newly risen pack of Yukidaruma surrounding him just before they can break into the center.
Despite it all, he doesn't lose his cool. He still keeps a level head but he hisses--)
... No fair.

That makes it a competition against everyone else. And while Tsurumaru's laughter irks him, the fact he uses his hero name gives him a pass. One of the rare times someone does use his full name and it sounds awesome.
... minus the fucking -kun part.]
DON'T CALL ME -KUN, DAMMIT!!
[Totally necessary. Dynamight tenses at the sudden flicker, shifting into a ready stance and spreading his legs slightly as both hands clench into explosion-popping fists. What the hell is going on? Everything's blinking and moving, as if the entire world is glitching. (Not surprising, since it's a simulation.) The snow and ice- IT'S BACK?!] WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!
[Not just that, but the destroyed monsters are also returning! Snarling, Dynamight jumps backwards into the air above Tsurumaru and the newly-regenerated evacuees. They mentioned some fluctuation in the system, but resetting it like this is fucking ridiculous! He reaches for one of his Grenadier Bracers firing pins. Tch, could wipe most of this out with one blast, but with Tsurumaru and the people here, that would strip his "Rescue Points" out the down window.]
Get as close together as you can, you damn extras! Now!
[Another blast pops Dynamight higher into the air as he twists around to aim downward, one hand outstretched with palm open, the other curling in a circled fist in front of it. As soon as he's assured Tsurumaru and the others are packed in, he pulls himself into the spin.] AP Machine Gun!
[Like a meteor storm of baseball-sized explosive blasts, the attack sprays explosions around the ground, keeping the center clear as the ice and snow (and any monsters lingering) are shelled by hot bursts. It's difficult to aim like this, but dammit if he's going to let their hard work to to waste!]
