[Still grinning, Yzak's little brag attempt prompts Dearka to give Athrun an apologetic wince and a tiny shrug that just silently says, "some things never change, huh?"]
Yeah, sure, we'll do our best. Mind, we've only had direct experience with two varieties of the monsters so far. First encounter was nothing to write home about, just some oversized pigs. But the second...
[He hesitates. The second was the worm. The giant psychic worm of Las Vegas was the first SERIOUS kaiju fight they participated in as members of LILITH, and it was... A Lot more harrowing than the pigs were. Dearka wasn't personally affected by the creature's ability to lure people towards it's lair using hallucinations of friends and loved ones lost... But he did have to physically restrain Yzak from going out there. Which was a task and a half, because Yzak is every bit as stubborn as ever, and he was convinced up and down that he both saw Nicol out there in the sandstorm, AND heard him screaming for help... Traumatizing! But, hah hah, dw about it they're fine now, they're both fine,,]
...That one's a longer story. Probably better told over some drinks or something. [He'll just leave it at that.] Honestly, the bigger problem in some ways is LILITH itself. It's not exactly the most seamlessly run organization.
