The kaiju king holds the attack there for as long as he can, then closes his maw with a snap. The final focal point of the blast is just a little bit on the, turned half into glass side, but it's nowhere near to the degree he'd be able to usually.
He lets out a snort and smacks his tail against the ground with a loud thump. This is the first time he's really cut loose since awakening, it is nowhere near what he'd like it to be. Already he feels his core is drained of energy to the point it would be halfway through one of his normal fights. A mental note is going up to be sparing with his blasts.
