[Leaving the other man inside seems to go against his instincts, but they don't have the luxury of that at the moment. Outsiders are naturally stronger and more able than the civilians of Neo Tokyo (assumedly) so if this guy's one of the other kidnapped group, he'll be able to do something in there without getting demolished by debris or burned up by fire. If he does, Bakugo's going to kick his fucking ass for putting himself in danger when he couldn't protect himself!
He quickly deposits the victim into the waiting medics' arms, making sure they have the situation under control and assure him the rescued individual isn't going to die of any complications. Doesn't give them long to say that though, since there are more people and every second counts in this situation. Bakugo breaks off from the gurney and heads back inside, not racing as he wants due to the smoke and flames. He braces against the heat and waves through the smoke, keeping his face ducked behind his jacket collar.
Only to bump into the new Outsider emerging from the billowing black and lurid orange glow. He twists to snarl at him, but lets it go before tromping up the stairs again. No comment on whether the top floor's clear or not. Bastard. Whatever. Bakugo shoulders open another door and yells inside it, before quickly sweeping the area. In the closet, under the bed, behind the door, nothing = back out into the hall.
Almost running into the newcomer. AGAIN!]
There's only two more rooms at the end of the hall. Look in the left one, I'll take the right. Then get out of here.
[That calmness is actually a help in the stressful situation, Bakugo's own gruff voice following suit. Once they have those two rooms clear, they can leave, satisfied no one else is inside.]
