[Katsuki's getting the feeling the nausea is more related to the implant in his head than anything physical. He's been in contact with Yuji almost since leaving the portal, and while it's helped noticeably, any heavy movement or rise in temperament causes his head to swim again. Once he gets inside and can rest, he thinks it'll be better. Hopefully. He's not sleeping with a damn bucket by the bed.
Katsuki's never once thought of Yuji as a burden (annoying, yes, at the beginning) despite acknowledging he's better off with people supporting him. Leaving Yuji alone is dangerous, for Yuji, since he loses that safety net of people who care about him and make sure he doesn't overextend himself. But even the dumb choices and danger magnet nature of Yuji's life hasn't turned Katsuki off from him. He focuses more on the boy's heart and spirit, admiring his drive. A selfless, unwavering hero.
So he acknowledges that work, as well as Yuji's improvements. If he says he won't do it again... Katsuki trusts him.]
Hmph. I know you're tough. [The usual growl about not worrying about him sits on his tongue before dissolving. Yuji would know the truth anyways. Katsuki's attentive to him.] I'll always watch out for you.
[And he'll be there whenever Yuji needs him; he's said that plenty and doesn't intend to fail on it. Ever. As the car pulls through the base gates, Katsuki looks over at his friend. He'll do his damnest to keep Yuji from dying.]
Next Thursday. We can cook dinner or go out together after.
