[As the dust and debris settle, light pours in from the other side of the now-destroyed wall. No furniture, surprisingly, but rubble from a collapsed wall. Which is now blown all over the room beyond. Bakugo draws his arm back, giving Aki the room to move forward again once his ears stop ringing. He's naturally resistant to his own explosions, so the noise, light, heat, and recoil don't affect him anywhere near as much as others.
Unaware that he ticked the dreaded clock of doubt in Aki's mind, Bakugo follows him out of the passageway and stands up. He eyes the room, once again already cleaned out of anything valuable, though there are some pieces of furniture that sit against the walls. He pulls one arm across his chest, stretching his shoulder and popping it slightly. Aki can ask Denji what he feels about that, but considering how things are going, it's not really a problem.

[Bakugo can tell the mixture of happy contentment and weighty protection that Denji feels towards being with the other boy. He knows there's a lot of guilt there too, pain that Denji feels towards Aki that manifests in the desire to protect him and keep him close by. But at the same time, the proximity hurts him... It's not something Bakugo's commented on, because he knows it's a black and white facet. To keep it hurts, but to remove it would possibly hurt even more.
