[ Aki stares at the suits for what seems like eons before he puts it on, looking... Frustrated to say the least. It doesn't suit him at all, and the tight, pained expression on his face is more than enough to give away just how dissatisfied he is with the idea of having to wear it for long periods of time.

Walking through the park, he doesn't bother with too much of the lifting and carrying (that's not his area, necessarily, thanks) and instead draws his fire sword, making himself useful cutting the larger pieces of kaiju into smaller bits and burning the edges so there's nothing too gross about it. It's a messy job, but someone has to do it, right?

He is, at least, accustomed to dodging being covered in blood, and it seems as though he does a good job of avoiding any muck on his suit. Impressive.

If it does look like anyone is struggling, though, he'll do the nice thing and step over, arms crossed. ]

Are you alright?

[ Aki is well accustomed to being in Tokyo, but he can admit to being a little curious about the portals to Kyoto - especially with the knowledge that it was abandoned. If that's something that can happen to one LILITH base, it seems logical it could happen to another, so the notion of examining it for himself is a temptation that's hard to resist. The only concern he has is that his prosthetic arm might have some kind of negative reaction, but if they're all modern tech...

Of course, he ends up going through the portal.

Rather than spending much time examining the depths of the base, other than a walk around to see the layout and the disrepair, because it's the Imperial Palace that captures his attention.

He spends a lot of time walking around, checking it out, looking for places deep inside, simply enjoying the nature of it. It's quiet, in that eerie way that reminds Aki of being in the depths of the base back home, but without the knowledge of a contract being forced on him.

Eventually, he sits himself down outside, cigarette lit in his fingers as he breathes out circles of smoke, seeming enjoying the peace and quiet. ]

[ Fighting boar isn't necessarily what he imagined himself doing with his day, but in a way it's a much better use of his time and strength than attempting to deal with electric lizards. They're normal enough in appearance and fightin style that Aki can deal with it, and he's sure that he's faced some kind of boar slash piglike devil in the past, so it almost feels instinctive to start to try and cut them down, dragging his flame sword from his back and getting to work.

When a fight breaks out, Aki is right there, sword in hand. He seems to move with a slightly inhuman speed, always just a second ahead of the boars, ducking down and adjusting his weight as he swings the fire sword around. At one point, he wraps his metal arm around one of the tusks of the smaller creatures and attempts to throw it aside. ]

[ And then he keeps going, throwing himself into the middle of any kind of fighting that might be taking place, hair falling out of his topknot and leaving it sticking to his forehead. ]

[ Aki is usually very good at paperwork - he's the kind of person that wants to get it done as quickly as possible so he can enjoy a quiet evening of reading and doing chores, but the sheer amount that was requested of them has meant that this time around he has fallen into the trap of beauocracy. He was missing one form, he heard the alert of failed to file in the back of his mind, and then his clothes were transformed, and he just... Stands.

What are you meant to do when you're dressed like... This, anyway?

Eventually, he makes his way out to stand outside the base, grabbing a cigarette from a random pocket and lighting it up, ignoring the way that it doesn't seem to want to settle betwen the fingers of his gloves particularly well. He's feeling a little sour, alright.

If anyone happens to look at him, he just... Frowns, eyes narrowing. ]
