[The pressure that builds from Ushi Gozen's imminent attack is almost too much to bear in a space enclosed like this. Out in the open Servants were (usually) free to do as they pleased, so long as they kept in mind the villages nearby and the possible one or two humans that may have unfortunately stumbled upon them. But here Ushi Gozen's power is trapped, crackling against the walls and sending energy throughout every living thing it touches— including her former Master.

Shousetsu has felt it many times before, and cannot help but watch the prelude of Ushi Gozen's attack, the way she effortlessly moves, carrying every bit of the grace she had retained when they were in Edo. The accumulation of that power finally reaches its peak and she swiftly shields her face—

—and stumbles as that terrifying strike touches down with a thunderous crash.

!!

[Her ears ring as she turns away from that blinding light, heat scoring from that source and drifting outwards in waves. When the sound of that bulk finally crashes against the stage Shousetsu moves her arm away slowly, eyes opening to reveal the creature on its side, fur burnt in various places.

In that precise moment she looks over to Ushi Gozen and catches that stare with her own. Her breath takes and for a second her body is frozen with uncertainty. The couple that had collapsed at her feet are, predictably, long gone.

It's only when the creature moans low and pained does she force herself to move. The fact that it is vocalizing tells her it is certainly not dead... and she cannot help the relief she feels then.

The feeling is short-lived, however, as the last cowering few that were too afraid to leave now run from the area in droves, along with most of the staff.

Shousetsu huffs and moves past them, towards the demigod. When she is certain she is close enough Shousetsu slowly halts her steps. In another time she would have ascertained that the enemy was gone, or that it was time to retreat. But now...

As expected.

[Her voice is worn, as though she had been shouting the entire time.]

You had no trouble at all... Rider.
