If I put it in one of my soul cages... It could keep its shape, scent and flavor forever. [She cants her head to the side and adds, as if talking to herself:] But flowers are not meant to be caged, are they?

[ All that begins must end... Even food, she supposes. She would dishonor that food if she tried preserving it and didn't eat it! It was made for the purpose of being eaten, and taking its purpose away from the dish would be a crime.

And so, she re-adjusts her chopsticks and... She stops midway to stare at him. ]
