Or, perhaps it's just one of those gestures that comes naturally when your feelings are this strong? Each graze of his sharp teeth sends shudders through her and is met with a groan and the tightening of her grip on him. A few of her cyber tentacles even slide out to slither over him and hug him tightly, refusing to release him. Consciously or subconsciously, she can't let him go.
She could easily lose herself to this. Days could pass by and she wouldn't notice so long as he could be beside her, holding her, kissing her. Normally she shies away from being touched, but his is different. He is different. He invades her space in such a way that stimulates her every nerve ending in the best way.
Kaede doesn't realize how starved she is for air until he pulls away. She sucks in the much needed cool night air and stares up at him with an almost drunken stupor. What is he talking about? What exactly does the moon have to do with any of this? Not that she has to wonder about it long.

Such a simple phrase. Spoken so frankly too! All she can do is stare up at him with her face burning hotter by the second. He's only voicing a truth they've both known about for some time now.
