[ Yzak's work at the cat cafe means he's used to wearing uniforms that he'd have felt silly in before. And thankfully, the choices aren't half bad this time around, so he picks out a cute, fancy looking sorta butler outfit for the cause, befitting of his classy self. He also has his hair back in a little ponytail. And it does the job! He looks good in it! It makes up for his lack of charm which he's glad NOT to have here because just like KaijuCon he's side-eying the more excited of Dearka's fans and PALPABLY SCOWLING FROM A TABLE AS HE SERVES!! Ironically, Yzak's fans think this is cute of him so everyone wins here, except maybe Yzak himself. ( :( )
He has his own feelings about being here for a year, as he too remembers the maid bullshit was one of the first things that happened to them after they woke up. Homesick being the strongest of them, even if Dearka's presence helps with it so it isn't crushing. Athrun, Cagalli and Shinn too, now that they're here ... even if Yzak would prefer none of them were.
In either case! He's keeping himself busy with this, and it isn't all too bad since it's for a good cause. Not to mention, Dearka in a butler suit is a very nice bonus ... he looks good in it! Very good! This is something Yzak can admit to himself now without having a crisis! That's his boyfriend! And their break time is nearly over before they have to head back out for the next round of guests, so Yzak finishes his bottle of water before he goes looking for Dearka, missing that manager's suggestion to him entirely. He puts his hair back up and smooths out of the front of his own outfit, tugging the bottom of it to make sure he looks perfect and presentable. ]
