βΆ GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT: STATE OF GAME
Hello Outsiders and players! We hope 2025 has been good to you thus far.
We are excited to announce that us have a mod team have hashed out a rough timeline for the rest of the year. We wanted to communicate that the events in this coming year are going to have more focus on overarching plot and lore whereas we had envisioned the first year of this game would be more of an action game with subtle clues and mostly kaiju bashing. We are seeing Synflux to dig deeper into the story in 2025. Some things we plan on incorporating into the events this year are the following:
1. Where the Rifts actually are coming from.
2. Where the kaiju are coming from / what a Rift leads to.
3. What the kaiju want from humanity / why they are hostile towards humanity.
4. The reveal of the big catastrophe that made the Earth 1/3rd of a population less.
5. An opportunity to explore the inside of a Rift.
6. An opportunity for monster transformation.
While we will keep the steady schedule of a TDM month/downtime month + travel log/kaiju fight, we wanted to let you all know that the game will be taking a turn into more overarching plot. This does not mean that the game is heading towards end game anytime soon, but the tune of the events may be a little different content-wise than what you as a playerbase may be expecting.
This is a short update, but we just want communication between mod team and playerbase to be as thorough as we can be. If you have any further questions about this update, you may ask below! Thank you!
