How come it's a great curse but the bits underneath it don't sound so scary?

Like, to me a curse sounds real bad. Like a witch is really mad at you or something. Or you're being blamed for a drought? But this sounds fine, doesn't it? Well, beyond us needing to get you a whole bunch of spoons.
