That is a reasonable hypothesis. It may also be the case that their technology modified our bodies to have similar resistances to the people of this planet when they summoned us. [ Or constructed, seeing how they could potentially be clones of the original, but that is another hypothesis that can't be proven, and there isn't any evidence of it. Not worth bringing up. ] It is most certainly not luck. Luck cannot account for every one of us avoiding the common illnesses of this planet.
