[Not usually something he'd admit, but it's true. How much more was this team supposed to endure? Every mission has gone worse than the last. Not to mention the baggage they brought with them from home still weighing them down, no time to process it on top of everything else they're expected to.]

I miss doing... things. Going on hikes, to see a movie. Trips to the onsen.

[The missions have been so much, it's hard to not just find the time, but to feel up to it. Now the mood on base is heavy as ever, even with the holidays around the corner. When was the last time the two of them really got to do normal things together? Since the ryokan, since Okinawa? Just a few months, but here, it seems like ages.

Yet, there is still so much to be done, all while a new mission could pop up at literally any time.]

I want to keep fighting and working... to get those things back. So we can have fun again. So everyone can.
